Food Drive at Kartchner Caverns

Kartchner Caverns State Park

March 14-20, 2026

Contribute to a county-wide food drive to support food banks in the Cochise County Food Network by dropping off your donation at Kartchner Caverns State Park. You can drop your donation off at the collection box the Discovery Center or at the gatehouse if you are not visiting the park. Dry good and non-perishable items only, please.

Cochise County has a poverty rate of 16.3%, and the Cochise County Food Network pantries and food banks work tirelessly to provide food to neighbors who are struggling. Food insecurity means not having reliable access to enough nutritious food to live a healthy, active life. Food provides more than nourishment: it gives energy, focus, dignity, and hope.

What to donate:

  • Canned goods: vegetables, fruits, tuna, canned beef stew, canned meats, beans, soup, chill, spaghetti sauce
  • Boxed goods: Macaroni and cheese, mashed/scalloped/au gratin potatoes, stuffing mix, shelf-stable milk, crackers, cookies, cereal, teas, ramen, Hamburger Helper, oatmeal
  • Other Recommended Items: 12 Oz. peanut butter, jelly, powdered drink mix, honey, cooking oil, instant coffee, powdered coffee creamer
  • Dry goods: pastas, dry beans, rice

Please: Non-perishable items only. No expired, used or damaged products.
